O Webinar "New methods in Zetpol HNBR curing: Peroxide blends for low temperature cure and Non-Nitrosamine Sulfur Curatives", patrocinado pela Zeon, realizou-se no dia 06/09/20, online, pelo app Zoom.
Quase 90 pessoas inscreveram-se para o evento, o qual contou com a exposição de Dana Stripe, cientista da Área de Desenvolvimento de Aplicações da unidade Zetpol/HNBR elastomers da Zeon Chemicals L.P.
A palestra, com abertura e mediação de André Mautone, vice-presidente da ABTB, foi toda ministrada em inglês e engajou o público presente. A sessão de perguntas foi coberta com as respostas de Stripe, sendo aquelas que não foram possíveis de responder no momento encaminhadas por email.

While Dialkyl peroxides are the most common they are not the only option. Peroxyketal peroxides have been around for a long time but are not widely utilized. This webinar will look at blends of Dialkyl and Peroxyketal peroxides to optimize HNBR formulations for low temperature cures and faster cycle times.
With regulations in Europe and increasing regulatory pressures around the globe Non-Nitrosamine curatives are gaining momentum. The second half of this webinar will demonstrate how to successfully replace nitrosamine generating sulfur curatives with non-nitrosamine equivalents. Understanding these techniques can be powerful for developing optimized Zetpol formulations for your applications and production process.
Palestrante:
Dana Stripe is a Scientist in the Applications Development area for the Zetpol/HNBR elastomers business unit within Zeon Chemicals L.P. He has been with Zeon for 6 years working at their Louisville, KY technical center.
Dana has over 18 years’ experience in the rubber industry having worked in key technical positions at UF Fluid Systems, and Gates before joining Zeon. He has written and presented at numerous technical conferences, rubber groups, and symposiums around the world. Dana has also been a major contributor and recipient on several patents related to HNBR and ECO barrier fuel hose constructions.
